| "Please note that this review
is based on using the software in English only. I did not test
this software for accent laden languages, such as French or
Cyrillic.
I installed this on my Tungsten T3, after having used the
demo software for the entire duration. Being a touch-typist,
I found this program to have a very small learning curve.
The choice of commonly-used symbols and keyboard layouts,
whether in portrait or landscape mode, was excellent! It took
me no time at all to adapt to this software. Clearly, the
authors have done their homework in its design and use.
My typing speed tends to be faster when the program is used
in landscape mode, as the keys are spaced out in the traditional
QWERTY mode. However, even in portrait mode, the QWERTY layout
is still pretty good, considering that the laws of physics
dictate just how well the keys will fit on the screen for
usage, in this mode.
Access to number and symbol keys is excellent. Cap lock and
num lock functionality is quickly learned.
The program takes up just shy of 250k on my handheld, so
if space is an issue on yours, be forewarned. The setup and
configuration once installed is very simple. The program itself
consists only of installing the .prc file. Built-in Help/Troubleshooting
tips are plainly and clearly written, as well.
While the price is a little steep, I think this is indicative
of many Palm OS apps nowadays, as their median costs have
risen as a whole. However, I think this product is well done
and strongly recommend you download and try it to make your
own determination.
I would consider this a Palm Essential app."
